Welcome to Song Meadows Alpacas website! Song Meadows is a small, full-service alpaca farm in Central New York. We are located atop a hill overlooking beautiful Skaneateles Lake. We are a family farm, owned and operated by the Cuykendalls (pronounced KIKE-in-dawl)-Cindy, Karl, and son Mark. Song Meadows is the dream-come-true of Cindy, and is an off-shoot of husband Karl's working crop farm. We currently offer alpaca boarding, as well as sales of quality huacaya alpacas, alpaca fiber products, hay, and custom-made alpaca restraint chutes. At Song Meadows Alpacas, the focus of our breeding program is superior fleece and correct conformation. Isn’t that the goal of every breeding program? The focus of our business, however, is the success of our customers. Alpaca ownership can be a wonderfully rewarding endeavor, both financially and in terms of lifestyle. However, it’s not magic! Like any business, it requires a solid working knowledge of the field. In addition to our experience in raising alpacas, we have years of experience in farm management, animal training and husbandry, and hay production.
